A lament

I miss playing basketball.

I miss coming off screens to take a pass and drain a jumper in a defender's face.

I miss throwing passes to cutting teammates for layups.

I miss blocking shots.

I miss gambling for steals and left-handed jump hooks.

I miss setting hard screens on smaller people and knocking them down.

I miss banking in everything from each wing.

I miss winning.

I miss losing.

I miss bricks, turnovers, getting stuffed, scraping my knee, sweating.

Man, I gotta get healthy again.

Ramblings

You know the Indian food is spicy when you eat raw onion to clean your palate... and it tastes like celery.

Off-the-wall: at lunch today, my coworker wondered, "What do people in Holland call it when they go on a date and split the bill?"
