I wonder if elves have that kind of bonus...

So the other day I was engaged in discussion with two of my coworkers about what life would be like if we were living a role-playing game, since in most RPGs, the race you are can give you bonuses to particular skills (like elves have a bonus for archery, dwarves for masonry, etc.).

Since one of them is a white American male from the Midwest, I joked, "Well, you'd have a -3 to 'Getting into a major public university' due to affirmative action."

He fired back with, "Yeah, but I'd be a +4 to 'Dating an Asian girl.'"
